They will also need to have high levels of organization skills as they will be working on many factors of the project at once and with different people and departments.  They would be potentially be working on several mini projects for just one single brand such as photoshoots videos production and interactive media. Not only is organization key, but being able to prioritise is another key skills.
While they are working on many small projects for one brand, they will need to be organised to be as cost effective as possible. One of the tools they could possibly use would be the Gantt chart to keep the timeline in chronological order. By completing jobs to high standard on time and under budget will mean that they will gain a good reputation in the industry allowing them to work on bigger projects.
Being a strong communicator for this role is important as a brad strategist will have to work alongside other departments and ensure that professional relationships are built and maintained.
These skills will aid career development as it shows that the brand strategist is able to take on a large amount of responsibility and therefore promote to a higher level such as a leading brand strategist or even director overseeing an entire project.

The job role also states you need to be creative and while it’s good to have that side to a brand strategist you need to be organised to when you and how much you can be creative.
Another key attribute that they will need is to make sure that they are a good communicator as will have to be working with different people and give them a clear and coherent set of instructions that cannot mis interpreted for anything else. This is a key skill as they might be managing several different people and they’re not to supervise at all times. They might need to leave others in charge of smaller projects and if they are done wrong it could mess up in entire project.
Being passionate about the advertisement industry and the particular brand is also another key skill that will need to have to help progress up the ladder and succeeded and the role of the brand strategist.
This skill helps with career progression as when you meet people higher in the industry being able to communicate your thoughts and understanding will help impress. If you go for an interview being able to clearly talk about past achievements and things you could offer in a role will help impress a potential employer.
